Outcomes and Lessons Learned from Implementing a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program at UCAR/NCAR UNEION 101 has trained nearly 200 employees, is the institution's flagship diversity program. Creating More Inclusive Research Environments for Undergraduates In order to determine who has access to undergraduate research and identify what barriers to full-inclusion exist for new-majority students, this article presents a mixed methods study. There were no substantial differences between students who did or did not participate in undergraduate research in terms of race/ethnicity, gender, or first-generation status.
