Scott Pruitt (she/her) supports research and evaluation within UCAR's Office of Access, Culture, and Opportunity. She holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Scott specializes in applied evaluation and research, helping to improve training, education, and outreach. In addition to numerous government white papers, her work has appeared in Harvard Business Review, Gender, Work, and Occupations, and other academic outlets.
At NSF NCAR and UCAR, Scott has led research on UNEION, LEAD, NextGen Fellowship, the mentoring program, and other offerings. She is passionate about using data to improve the experiences of students and employees throughout the organization.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys hanging out with her many pets, kayaking, and gardening.
