Our main facilities are located in Boulder on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains. The region, known as the Front Range, is where the flat plains of the Midwest meet the foothills of the Rockies. The majority of Coloradans live on the Front Range in Denver and the surrounding cities.

The RTD is a transit system in the Denver, Colorado, metropolitan area that is a fast, comfortable, and convenient way to get around. UCAR provides a yearly pass to all employees.
UCAR/NCAR Shuttle Service
Our shuttle system is available to employees and visitors that provides service between Mesa, Center Green, and Foothills Labs.
